London trip - 30th Dec, 05'
London, the capital of England and the political-socio-economic center of the world in the 18th century, is located at the heart of England. I could feel myself, this city might once a great metropolis dwelled by millions of population. Money was flowing in and out of Westminster area, the rich and wealthy were strolling on the bank of River Thames, the nobles were enjoying the scenery by the pond in St James Park, rickshaws were running on Regent St... Well, today, the city of London is embellished with a even larger population of diverse ethnicity! Try to imagine, when I stand at a junction near Big Ben, I thought I am standing on a street in Brazil, India or any Eastern European state but England. Very interesting.

Beautiful wall painting about "Georgian era parlimen"at Charing Cross Underground Station.

The ever famous London Eye and the projected image of a Olympian Gold medallist on the eve of 2006 new year!

Night scenery on the Victoria Rd. leading towards the Big Ben.

How can I believe my eye, such a mesmerising Nike Town flaship store at the "deserted" crossroad of Bond St. and Regent St. This is the main shopping street in London and now I was capturing the scene around midnight.

Me posing in front of Her Majesty QE2's official resident - Buckingham Palace. I could see the similarity between this palace and the Istana Negara at Kuala Lumpur but the amount of visitor and the accessibility to this place.

Think of Changing Guard Ceremony, it "was" because I missed it. That was the end of the ceremony and I came late by 10 mins.

Want to know where HM QE2 accended to the throne of England, it was in the Westminster Abbey, in the picture. Everyone was queuing and paying a hefty GBP9.50 to visit the 500 year-old abbey. I had no patient to wait and visited the sister church for the abbey, namely St.Margaret Church.
