Thetford Trip - Dec 12th 05'

The city of Thetford, located about 30 miles South of Norwich, is one of the bigger town in Norfolk region. This city seems friendly to me and for sure me and my few colleagues might be the only Malaysian ever set foot in this place of the earth!!

This is no ordinary church. I forget its name. But it has to do with something with St Nicholas. Its age, about 4 centuries!

~~ Castle Hill ~~
Believe it or not, this 80 ft high hill once stood a huge castle. It has archealogical evidence of Roman soldier dated back almost two millenium ago. Surrounding the hill was once the site of iron age defence traced back 500 BC.

My most beloved historical figure whom I get acquaintance during high school world history. The writer of "Common sense" and the person who played philosophical role for America Revolution. Thetford was his birthplace around middle 18th century. _______________________________________________________________________________________________
